JAKARTA – The controlling shareholder of PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK), has increased its stake by 2.68 billion shares, equivalent to 3.63%.

According to the company’s disclosure on Thursday (12/2), the share purchases were carried out by EMTK in two stages: 351,139,000 shares on 10 February 2026 at IDR 258 per share, and 2,331,232,500 shares on 11 February 2026 at IDR 284 per share.

Following the two transactions, SCMA’s management explained that EMTK’s ownership has risen from 70.39%, or 52.068 billion shares, to 74.02%, or 54.750 billion shares.

All transactions were classified as purchases of ordinary shares and were conducted directly. “The purpose of the transaction is for investment,” the company’s management said in the disclosure.

In terms of share performance, over the past six months SCMA’s share price has climbed 29.41% to IDR 308 per share. Although the stock has fallen 5.52% over the past month, it has rebounded 20.31% over the last five trading days.

For reference, SCMA posted a net profit of IDR 591.57 billion for the January–September 2025 period, up 16.14%, despite revenue slipping 1.88% to IDR 5.04 trillion, supported by cost efficiencies. (DK/ZH)
