Hapsoro Sukmonohadi increases his stake in BUVA

JAKARTA – The controlling shareholder of PT Bukit Uluwatu Villa Tbk (BUVA) has increased his shareholding in a transaction carried out last week (19/11).

Citing the disclosure on Monday (24/11), Ade Kosasih, Head of the Commercial Private and Branch Department at PT Edi Indonesia, BUVA’s share registrar, reported a change in the shareholding of a shareholder owning more than 5%, namely PT Nusantara Utama Investama (NUI).

NUI is an investment company owned by Happy Hapsoro Sukmonohadi, the husband of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Puan Maharani.

NUI is currently BUVA’s controlling shareholder with a stake of 67.67% or 16.65 billion shares. Following the latest transaction, its shareholding rose by 9.63 million shares to 16.68 billion (67.71%).

When the transaction took place last week (19/11), BUVA’s share price strengthened by IDR 10 to IDR 905 per share from IDR 895 previously.

A total of 90.75 million shares were traded in 7,565 transactions worth IDR 82.81 billion. Assuming that price, NUI’s additional share purchase is estimated at around IDR 8.67 billion.

As of October 2025, BUVA’s total shares stood at 20.59 billion, with Controlling Shareholders owning 67.56% and Non-controlling Shareholders holding 32.44%. The ultimate beneficiary of the shareholding is Hapsoro Sukmonohadi. (LK/ZH)
