BBRI jumps 3.35% after announcing dividend with potential 10% yield

JAKARTA – Shareholders of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) have approved a dividend allocation for the 2025 financial year amounting to IDR 52.1 trillion, equivalent to 92% of net profit for 2025, which reached IDR 57.1 trillion.
The dividend allocation was approved at BBRI’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held on Friday (10/4) in Jakarta.
According to Stockbit, the figure already includes an interim dividend of IDR 20.6 trillion—or IDR 137 per share—distributed in January 2026.
As such, shareholders will receive a final dividend for the 2025 financial year of IDR 207 per share, or a total of around IDR 31.5 trillion.
As a state-owned bank, PT Danantara Asset Management, or Danantara Indonesia, remains the controlling shareholder with a 52.7% stake in BBRI as of end-March 2026.
Accordingly, Danantara is set to receive total dividends of around IDR 27.5 trillion from BBRI for the 2025 financial year.
Based on IDNFinancials.com data, Indonesia Investment Authority (INA) holds a 3.63% stake in BBRI, followed by the Employees Provident Fund Board with 1.14% and DJS Ketenagakerjaan Programme for Old Age Security with 1.09%.
Following the dividend announcement, BBRI shares closed up 3.35% at IDR 3,390 per share at the end of trading on Thursday (10/4).
Even at this elevated price, and with total dividends per share reaching IDR 344, BBRI’s indicated dividend yield for the 2025 financial year could reach 10.15%. Meanwhile, the final dividend yield alone could reach 6.1%. (ZH)
