ADRO allocates 99.9% of 2025 net profit to dividends, yield tops 10%

JAKARTA – PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk (ADRO), controlled by Garibaldi Thohir, has secured shareholder approval to distribute 99.96% of its 2025 net profit as dividends.

According to IDNFinancials.com data, ADRO’s 2025 net profit fell 67.5% year-on-year to USD 447.7 million, in line with a 10% decline in revenue to USD 1.87 billion.

Thus, the company will distribute USD 447.5 million in dividends, equivalent to USD 0.015 per share. This includes an interim dividend of USD 250 million, or IDR 145.14 per share, which was paid on 15 January 2026.

The remaining USD 197.5 million will be distributed as a final dividend, or around USD 0.006 per share.

Based on the JISDOR exchange rate of IDR 17,142 per USD as of 16 April 2026, the final dividend amounts to approximately IDR 115.2 per share.

Following the announcement, ADRO shares rose 2.4% to IDR 2,560 as of 2:45 PM on Friday (17/4). At that level, the dividend yield for the 2025 financial year is estimated to exceed 10%.

According to data from Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), PT Adaro Strategic Investment remains the controlling shareholder with a 47.8% stake as of March 2026, while an undisclosed affiliated party holds 11.2%.

Garibaldi Thohir also directly controls 6.7% of ADRO, meaning he is expected to receive around USD 29.98 million in dividends, equivalent to IDR 513.96 billion.

Other prominent Indonesian investors with stakes in ADRO include Edwin Soeryadjaya (3.58%), TP Rachmat (3.03%), and Sandiaga Uno (2.08%). (ZH)
