JAKARTA &ndash; PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) has allocated capital expenditure (capex) of IDR 1.4 trillion for the 2026 financial year.
President director Djap Tet Fa said the figure represents a significant 79% increase from the previous year&rsquo;s realisation of IDR 782 billion.
&ldquo;This budget increase is a strategic step to improve the company&rsquo;s operational performance in the coming years,&rdquo; he said during a public expose at Menara Astra in Jakarta on Wednesday (15/4).
Around 63.8% of the 2026 capex will be allocated to replanting activities to enhance land productivity and replace ageing crops.
This aligns with the company&rsquo;s target to increase replanting to at least 6,000 hectares, compared with an average of 4,000&ndash;5,000 hectares annually over the past two years.
&ldquo;We have the ambition to reach up to 8,000 hectares of replanting by the end of 2026,&rdquo; he added.
This area represents around 4% of the company&rsquo;s 208,000 hectares of planted nucleus estates. &ldquo;We will carry out replanting across all our operational areas, including Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi,&rdquo; Tet Fa said.
In addition, 19.8% of capex will be allocated to maintenance and development of mills and port facilities.
The remaining 16.4% will be used for non-plantation needs, such as procurement of transport vehicles and other operational supporting assets.
As previously reported by IDNFinancials.com, the company recorded a 31% year-on-year increase in net revenue to IDR 28.7 trillion.
The rise in revenue was driven by a 6% increase in crude palm oil (CPO) production to 1.2 million tonnes in 2025, as well as an 8% increase in kernel production to 252,000 tonnes.
Meanwhile, sales volume of CPO and its derivatives rose 13% to 1.8 million tonnes in 2025.
AALI&rsquo;s improved performance was also supported by commodity market dynamics. Tight global CPO supply pushed the average selling price (ASP) up 11% to IDR 14,316 per kilogram in 2025.
However, higher cost of revenue and operating expenses weighed on net profit margin, which edged down to 5.37% in 2025 from 5.44% a year earlier.
Director Tingning Sukowignjo stressed the importance of cost discipline to maintain stable performance amid dynamic market conditions.
&ldquo;The company continues to accelerate performance through optimising precision agronomy practices based on superior seedlings, cost control and spending discipline, as well as improving operational efficiency. This strategy is aimed at maintaining cost competitiveness in anticipation of CPO price volatility,&rdquo; she said in an official statement.
In the first trading session today, as of 1:03 PM WIB, AALI shares rose 0.62% to IDR 8,125 per share. Over the past five days, the stock has gained 4.17% and surged 12.46% over the past month. (DK/ZH)

JAKARTA &ndash; PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) approved a final dividend of IDR 335 per share at its annual general meeting of shareholders (AGM) on Wednesday (15/4).
This brings the total dividend for the 2025 financial year to IDR 458 per share, equivalent to IDR 881.5 billion.
Previously, the company had distributed an interim dividend of IDR 123 per share in October 2025. The remaining dividend of IDR 335 per share is scheduled to be paid on 13 May 2026.
According to data from IDNFinancials.com, the 2025 dividend marks the highest allocation since the 2022 financial year.
AALI once distributed a total dividend of IDR 461 per share in 2021 financial year, before the allocation was back to around Rp400 in the next three years.
The increase aligns with AALI&rsquo;s profit growth in 2025, alongside a higher dividend payout ratio (DPR).
The payout ratio reached around 60% of the company&rsquo;s 2025 net profit, which rose 28.25% year on year to IDR 1.47 trillion.
Based on AALI&rsquo;s share price of IDR 8,150 as of 1:44 PM WIB on Wednesday (15/4), the total dividend yield for the 2025 financial year stands at approximately 5.6%.
In addition to the dividend decision, director Tingning Sukowignjo said the AGM also approved changes to the board of directors, appointing Muhammad Guruh to replace the retiring Eko Prasetyo.

AALI declares IDR 458 dividend per share, highest since 2022

JAKARTA - Langkah pemerintah Indonesia menjatuhkan denda kepada perusahaan sumber daya alam atas dugaan penyalahgunaan lahan mulai berdampak pada kinerja emiten perkebunan Malaysia, Genting Plantations Bhd.
Pada kuartal terbaru, perusahaan harus membayar denda sekitar US$25 juta kepada satuan tugas yang tengah merombak sektor sawit di negara produsen minyak sawit terbesar dunia tersebut.
Dalam keterbukaan informasi pada Selasa (24/2) malam, Genting mengungkapkan bahwa pembayaran yang disebut sebagai denda administratif oleh anak usaha di Indonesia, yang dimiliki 95%, secara signifikan memangkas laba bersih kuartal keempat.
Seperti dikutip Bloomberg, perusahaan tidak merinci sifat pelanggaran tersebut, yang sebelumnya telah diungkap bulan lalu, namun menyebut pembayaran dilakukan kepada Satuan Tugas Penertiban Kawasan Hutan Indonesia.
Tekanan terhadap Genting menambah daftar perusahaan yang terdampak kebijakan penertiban lahan di era Presiden Prabowo Subianto.
Pemerintah tengah mereklamasi lahan dari perusahaan perkebunan dan pertambangan serta menjatuhkan denda atas dugaan pelanggaran penggunaan kawasan hutan.
Satgas yang dibentuk tahun lalu itu telah menyita jutaan hektare lahan pertanian dan lainnya, serta menerbitkan denda bernilai miliaran dolar AS.
Sejumlah perusahaan lain juga terdampak.&nbsp;PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI)&nbsp;mengumumkan telah membayar denda administratif sebesar Rp571 miliar (US$34,1 juta) pada Desember, menyusul perubahan regulasi tata ruang kehutanan.
Pada bulan yang sama, Indofood Agri Resources Ltd. yang tercatat di Singapura menyatakan anak usahanya di Indonesia,&nbsp;PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk (SIMP)&nbsp;beserta entitas terkait, dikenai denda administratif sebesar Rp2,34 triliun (US$139,6 juta).
Perusahaan menyebut pembayaran dilakukan &ldquo;dengan itikad baik&rdquo; ke rekening penampungan pemerintah sambil menunggu penyelesaian akhir.
Akibat pembayaran denda tersebut, laba bersih Genting pada kuartal keempat anjlok 87% dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun sebelumnya menjadi 14,1 juta ringgit. Dampak tersebut sebagian tertahan oleh kenaikan pendapatan yang ditopang produksi tandan buah segar yang lebih baik.
Hingga kini, perusahaan belum memberikan komentar tambahan atas permintaan klarifikasi media.
Dalam paparan kepada analis, manajemen Genting juga mengindikasikan bahwa satgas telah menyita sekitar 12.000 hektare lahan milik perusahaan, di mana sekitar 3.000 hektare telah ditanami.
Namun, manajemen menyebut belum ada pembahasan lanjutan dengan pemerintah Indonesia terkait potensi penyitaan tambahan. (DK)
